Seating: 1676, VIP seats: 100) Rutger Wiman made the kick off and thus started the match. Rutger Wiman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Karl-Johan Björnberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rutger Wiman's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. Niklas Söderberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Helge Helander made a huge save. Karl-Johan Björnberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rutger Wiman in the 26th minute of play. 28 minutes into the game, Kennet Alefors cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Karl-Johan Björnberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Niklas Söderberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stig Hägert kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. In the 33rd match minute, Väring was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erling Kielstedt to maneuver through the defense. If Kennet Alefors had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Knut Qvalfeldt made a kick off. Joakim Rolfsson kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Karl-Johan Björnberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rutger Wiman in the 54th minute. In the 55th minute, Kennet Alefors fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Karl-Johan Björnberg, passed just outside the right post. Rutger Wiman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kennet Alefors sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Rutger Wiman came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Uddevalla BF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rutger Wiman couldn't finish the play. After 63 played minutes Väring got a freekick which was hit by Alf Söderqvist. 65 minutes into the match, Knut Qvalfeldt had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Helge Helander. Uddevalla BF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Knut Qvalfeldt was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. 70 minutes into the match, Väring's goalkeeper Karl-Johan Björnberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rutger Wiman. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rutger Wiman in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Karl-Johan Björnberg saved Väring from getting behind. Helge Helander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niklas Söderberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Uddevalla BF's Helge Helander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niklas Söderberg in the 75th minute of play. Uddevalla BF's Rutger Wiman got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Väring's Karl-Johan Björnberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olle Åström in the 82nd minute of play. With his leg Karl-Johan Björnberg managed to avoid a goal in the 88thth minute, when Uddevalla BF's Rutger Wiman fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Uddevalla BF were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Väring to leave the ground with a draw.
