Spectators: 7297 (Terracing: 5474, Seating: 1678, VIP seats: 145) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Kaj Asklöv took the kick off in the first half of the match. Kåre Magnusson kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. In the 4th minute of the match Jan-Olof Gråberg shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jan Sander showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 7th minute of the match Michael Bergqvist sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jan Sander skillfully saved the ball. 10 minutes into the match, Åsarp's goal looked a bit too open when Lars Henriksson came free, but Jan Sander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 12th minute Förslöv IF were awarded a corner. Jan-Olof Gråberg went to the cornerflag to take it. Jan-Olof Gråberg made a great header on Förslöv IF's corner, it was just that Åsarp's Jan Sander managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 15th minute of the match Kåre Magnusson shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sven-Ove Billström showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The supporters of Åsarp booed when Förslöv IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sven-Edvin Blom didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Stig-Åke Finnman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sven-Ove Billström was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. When Dennis Gadd came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Åsarp fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dennis Gadd couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Förslöv IF's Daniel Kilberg got a free kick in the 20th minute. After some careless play in the Åsarp defense, Lars Henriksson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jan Sander. The Åsarp fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jan Sander should have stopped the shot. If Kaj Asklöv had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Förslöv IF's Sven-Ove Billström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stig-Åke Finnman in the 35th minute of play. After 36 minutes of play, Förslöv IF's Kaj Asklöv made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jan Sander was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dennis Gadd kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Åsarp's zone, Kaj Asklöv stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jan Sander came out of the goal and Kaj Asklöv tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Magnus Säv took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sven-Ove Billström. Sven-Ove Billström dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Lars Henriksson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan Sander having to interfere. Jan Sander made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kaj Asklöv in the 55th minute. 60 minutes into the game, Kaj Asklöv lined in a short shot 1-4 behind a frustrated Jan Sander. Kaj Asklöv received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jan Sander came out and tried to block the shot, but Kaj Asklöv slotted it home off the left post making it 1-5 in the 64th minute. Kaj Asklöv fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan Sander having to interfere. After 72 played minutes Förslöv IF got a freekick which was hit by Anders Brander. Sven-Ove Billström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stig-Åke Finnman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kaj Asklöv could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Jan Sander made a huge save. Kaj Asklöv struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Jan Sander didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Förslöv IF. Kaj Asklöv who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 82ndth minute tested the skills of Jan Sander when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Förslöv IF's Sven-Ove Billström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dennis Gadd in the 85th minute of play. After 86 played minutes Förslöv IF got a freekick which was hit by Michael Bergqvist. Förslöv IF were furious when Bertil Biörkquist was red carded, 90 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in Förslöv IF fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 90th minute. Penalty! After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Anders Brander managed to get in a good position for a shot. Förslöv IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Anders Brander was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jan Sander breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jan Sander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anders Brander in the 99th minute of play. Förslöv IF's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
