When Jan-Åke Sigman came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Hultsfred fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jan-Åke Sigman couldn't finish the play. Mattias Lund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edward Lindberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. With his leg Mattias Lund managed to avoid a goal in the 17thth minute, when Hultsfred's Jan-Åke Sigman fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Edward Lindberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 22nd match minute, Hogla IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonatan Backman to maneuver through the defense. Hultsfred's Jan-Åke Sigman came free and shot a quick shot against goal 26 minutes in the game, fortunately Mattias Lund had problems saving as it came toward the left post. 33 minutes into the game, Hultsfred's Jan-Åke Sigman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mattias Lund made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Jan-Åke Sigman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mattias Lund having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jan-Åke Sigman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Harry Skräddare fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hultsfred's protests and gave Harry Skräddare a yellow card for diving instead. In the 55th match minute, Hogla IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kent Ek to maneuver through the defense. Hogla IF's Mattias Lund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alex Stephansson in the 58th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Jan-Åke Sigman put it in 6-0 from a short distance just to the right of Mattias Lund. After a defensive mix-up in Hogla IF's zone, Edward Lindberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mattias Lund came out of the goal and Edward Lindberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Jan-Åke Sigman put it in 7-0 from a short distance just to the right of Mattias Lund. Jan-Åke Sigman scored 8-0 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mattias Lund, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Hogla IF's zone, Jan-Åke Sigman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mattias Lund came out of the goal and Jan-Åke Sigman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ralf Tillman in the 78th minute of play forced Hogla IF's goalkeeper Mattias Lund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 81 minutes into the match, Jan-Åke Sigman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mattias Lund. Hogla IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jan-Åke Sigman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 9-0. In the 85thth minute of the game Jan-Åke Sigman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hogla IF's Mattias Lund was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mattias Lund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan-Åke Sigman in the 87th minute of play. Jan-Åke Sigman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Mattias Lund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 93 minutes into the match, Hogla IF's goal looked a bit too open when Jan-Åke Sigman came free, but Mattias Lund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gustaf Viklund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mattias Lund having to interfere. Hultsfred's Jan-Åke Sigman got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Hultsfred's Edward Lindberg, in the 96th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Hultsfred. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Hultsfred fully deserved thier win.
