When Måns Willig came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Gyttorp fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Måns Willig couldn't finish the play. After 10 played minutes Sven Sellberg rounded Gyttorp's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. Hampus Strandberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcus Vassenius, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Georg Rydberg's late challenge caught a Gyttorp's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Georg Rydberg helped the player get up and apologised. After 15 played minutes Stjärtpillarnas IK got a freekick which was hit by Georg Rydberg. Måns Willig took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hampus Strandberg. Hampus Strandberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. In the 22nd match minute, Stjärtpillarnas IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lars Västberg to maneuver through the defense. When Måns Willig came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Gyttorp fans jumped to their feet. After having played for 28 minutes, Brian Stenkvist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gyttorp's supporters crossed their fingers, but Brian Stenkvist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Måns Willig struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Hampus Strandberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gyttorp. Marcus Vassenius received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Hampus Strandberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Måns Willig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Marcus Vassenius received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Hampus Strandberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 49 minutes, Marcus Vassenius managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gyttorp's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcus Vassenius was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sven Sellberg to strike the kick off in the second half. Måns Willig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hampus Strandberg having to interfere. Stjärtpillarnas IK's Hampus Strandberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcus Vassenius in the 56th minute of play. Måns Willig recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In a very dangerous position, a player in Stjärtpillarnas IK fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 65th minute. Penalty! Stjärtpillarnas IK:s Hampus Strandberg showed great skill when he stopped Simon Biörling:s penalty. Hampus Strandberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Måns Willig in the 68th minute. Måns Willig blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hampus Strandberg having to make a save. Stjärtpillarnas IK's Hampus Strandberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcus Vassenius in the 76th minute of play. 78 minutes into the match, Sven Sellberg notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Gyttorp's Arne Bolander. Arne Bolander was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marko Hallgren during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 81 played minutes Stjärtpillarnas IK got a freekick which was hit by Marko Hallgren. Sven Sellberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Stjärtpillarnas IK booed when Gyttorp was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karl Wallman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arne Bolander stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sven Sellberg's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. Stjärtpillarnas IK's Hampus Strandberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 97th minute of the match, managed to save Stjärtpillarnas IK from getting a goal against them. 99 minutes into the match, Oliver Burman sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Hampus Strandberg threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Oliver Burman this time. Gyttorp's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
