Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ian Bäckman kicked off to start the match. After some careless play in the Rydboholm defense, Ian Bäckman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kalle Falkrantz. The Rydboholm fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kalle Falkrantz should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Petter Ahlbom got free with Douglas Bengtsson in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kalle Falkrantz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vilhelm Odeen in the 12th minute of the match. Rydboholm's Kalle Falkrantz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ian Bäckman in the 15th minute of play. After 15 played minutes Rydboholm got a freekick which was hit by Petter Ahlbom. In the 18th minute, Sven-Olof Bern hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to FC Slottsstaden getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Verner Lidman hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, FC Slottsstaden's Vilhelm Odeen got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Sven-Oskar Sjögren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to FC Slottsstaden getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Kenneth Kilberg hit a great ball. Kalle Falkrantz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ian Bäckman in the 29th minute of the match. In the 31st match minute, FC Slottsstaden was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Verner Lidman to maneuver through the defense. In the 32nd minute of the match Sven-Oskar Sjögren sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Douglas Bengtsson skillfully saved the ball. Kalle Falkrantz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ian Bäckman, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Ian Bäckman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Ian Bäckman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kalle Falkrantz was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. Douglas Bengtsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven-Olof Bern, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. In the 40th minute Billy Vassenius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Douglas Bengtsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kalle Falkrantz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rolf Palmkvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. 43 minutes into the match, FC Slottsstaden's goal looked a bit too open when Sven-Olof Bern came free, but Douglas Bengtsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
51 minutes into the match, Rydboholm's goalkeeper Kalle Falkrantz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rolf Palmkvist. Kalle Falkrantz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ian Bäckman went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. If Ian Bäckman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Vilhelm Odeen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Kalle Falkrantz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Kenneth Kilberg fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Slottsstaden's protests and gave Kenneth Kilberg a yellow card for diving instead. After 75 minutes, Per Kilberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rydboholm and the FC Slottsstaden players grew even worse after the yellow card. FC Slottsstaden's Pontus Eliasson shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 76th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Kalle Falkrantz but with some difficulty. In the 77th minute Ian Bäckman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kalle Falkrantz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kalle Falkrantz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ian Bäckman in the 77th minute of play. With an all-out effort, FC Slottsstaden's Kalle Falkrantz threw himself towards the right post 79 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ian Bäckman, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 81 minutes into the match, FC Slottsstaden's goal looked a bit too open when Billy Vassenius came free, but Douglas Bengtsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kenneth Kilberg was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 82 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, FC Slottsstaden's Kenneth Kilberg got a free kick in the 82nd minute. FC Slottsstaden made a substitution. Ludvig Norberg replaced Pontus Eliasson. In the 84th minute, Kenneth Kilberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Douglas Bengtsson came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Rydboholm's Sven-Oskar Sjögren. But to his dismay, Sven-Oskar Sjögren quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. After having played for 90 minutes, Rolf Palmkvist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Slottsstaden's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rolf Palmkvist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Billy Vassenius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC Slottsstaden's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
