Henning Jansson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aldo Jerrold in the 11th minute of the match. After 14 minutes, Kevin Enegren mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Söderhamn and the FC UNITED players grew even worse after the yellow card. 20 minutes into the game, Aldo Jerrold cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Henning Jansson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Henrik Borre took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Lennart Klint to make any attempt to save it. In the 29th minute, Aldo Jerrold got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 33 minutes, Lennart Klint successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Lennart Klint made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Hjalmar Almstedt sent off a good shot on target. 35 minutes into the game, Söderhamn's Anton Engman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lennart Klint made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Aldo Jerrold recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 45 minutes of play Söderhamn's Kevin Enegren was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Söderhamn's Kevin Enegren got a free kick in the 46th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The wind increased when Aldo Jerrold made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, André Lilja was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC UNITED's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Söderhamn the free kick. A collision led to FC UNITED getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. André Lilja hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anton Engman during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Söderhamn's Anton Engman got a free kick in the 53rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henrik Borre in the 56th minute of play forced FC UNITED's goalkeeper Lennart Klint to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lennart Klint showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henrik Borre in the 58th minute of the match. Lennart Klint didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Söderhamn. FC UNITED's David Björklund was substituted for Emanuel Aspengren. Henning Jansson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aldo Jerrold's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hjalmar Almstedt in the 80th minute of play forced FC UNITED's goalkeeper Lennart Klint to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hjalmar Almstedt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Lennart Klint tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Henrik Borre blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lennart Klint having to make a save. In the 91st minute Henrik Borre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lennart Klint saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 91st minute, Henrik Borre left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Söderhamn fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-1. Aldo Jerrold fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henning Jansson having to interfere.
