Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Nils Lindkvist made the kick off which started today's match. In the 3rdth minute of the game Nils Lindkvist who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Degerfors FF's Egil Sjöberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Christer Bergfelt's late challenge caught a Färentuna's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Christer Bergfelt helped the player get up and apologised. In the 10th minute, Christer Bergfelt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Degerfors FF's zone, Nils Lindkvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Egil Sjöberg came out of the goal and Nils Lindkvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Egil Sjöberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nils Lindkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Degerfors FF were awarded a corner in the 22th minute after Färentuna's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Peter Zander took the corner. Sven Lindgren had several of the Färentuna's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 28 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Teobald Kempski as he didn't even see the shot coming. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Thomas Granström during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 31st match minute, Degerfors FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thomas Granström to maneuver through the defense. After 32 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Degerfors FF! The referee gave Färentuna a penalty, 34 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ola Hellqvist, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Degerfors FF's Egil Sjöberg. 1-1. In the 37thth minute of the game Nils Lindkvist who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Degerfors FF's Egil Sjöberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Teobald Kempski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Christer Bergfelt in the 47th minute. In the 48th minute, Sven Lindgren fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sven Lindgren to make the kick off. Teobald Kempski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven Lindgren, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Egil Sjöberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nils Lindkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 55 minutes into the match, Degerfors FF's goalkeeper Egil Sjöberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jaime McDermott. Nils Lindkvist's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 56thth minute, Egil Sjöberg skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Egil Sjöberg came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Färentuna's Jaime McDermott. But to his dismay, Jaime McDermott quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. When Färentuna's Nils Lindkvist in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Degerfors FF's goalie prevented a goal. Jaime McDermott struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Egil Sjöberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Färentuna. Egil Sjöberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jaime McDermott in the 66th minute. A hard shot 71 in the game by Nils Lindkvist from a close distance when the talented Egil Sjöberg managed to make a qualified save. Degerfors FF's players were relieved. Urban Fridlund blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Egil Sjöberg having to make a save. In the 74th match minute, Degerfors FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sven-Åke Kilberg to maneuver through the defense. Egil Sjöberg had great luck who in the 75thth minute grab hold of the ball when Nils Lindkvist from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. In the 77th minute Christer Bergfelt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teobald Kempski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Färentuna's Primitivo Elodio shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 82nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Egil Sjöberg but with some difficulty. Egil Sjöberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nils Lindkvist's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. Färentuna's Villiam Jelm was substituted for Urban Fridlund. Färentuna played a much better game than Degerfors FF and deserved their victory. The Degerfors FF players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
