The Zinji FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lars Billström should have stopped the shot. Årjäng's Jonas Svanström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robert Lund in the 14th minute of play. Zinji FC's Lars Billström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Zinji FC from getting a goal against them. Jonas Svanström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robert Lund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joachim Hjeltman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Lars Billström made a huge save. 26 minutes into the match, Hubert Haström notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Zinji FC's Lars Billström. Lars Billström was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 29thth minute of the game Valdo de Andrade who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Årjäng's Jonas Svanström was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lars Billström was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Edmund Drewitz showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-1 in the 34 minute of play. The supporters of Årjäng booed when Zinji FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gert Asserlindh didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 38 played minutes, Årjäng's Wictor Palmkvist shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Lars Billström came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Årjäng reached it. Hubert Haström succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 4-1 in the 43rd playminute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robert Lund in the 46th minute of play forced Årjäng's goalkeeper Jonas Svanström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Erik Andersson to make the kick off. After 55 played minutes Årjäng got a freekick which was hit by Erik Andersson. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Valdo de Andrade in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonas Svanström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Johnny Skog hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. After 69 minutes, Börge Thedin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zinji FC and the Årjäng players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 69 played minutes Zinji FC got a freekick which was hit by Börge Thedin. 71 minutes into the match, Edmund Drewitz notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Zinji FC's Lars Billström. Lars Billström was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sancho Vilella hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. In the 77th minute, Björn Fransson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 84th minute, Robert Lund got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Zinji FC's Sancho Vilella got a free kick in the 89th minute. In the 90th minute of the match Wictor Palmkvist shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lars Billström showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Årjäng had won after a very even match.
