Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Åsbro BF's Leif Arenstedt started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Torsten Enegren in the 3rd minute of play forced Knivsta IF's goalkeeper Jakob Rydelius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Wiktor Granström fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Knivsta IF's protests and gave Wiktor Granström a yellow card for diving instead. 4 minutes into the game, one of Knivsta IF:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Jan Billström shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Christoffer Engman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Karl-Åke Påk in the 10th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Knivsta IF's Hannes Flink slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Christoffer Engman. That made the score 1-0 after 11 minutes of play. In the 16th match minute, Åsbro BF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claes Hult to maneuver through the defense. In the last second Christoffer Engman throw himself and got hold of the ball when Hannes Flink in the 18thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Erik Sundling received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Christoffer Engman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 20 minutes into the game, Hannes Flink cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Christoffer Engman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Erik Sundling had several of the Åsbro BF's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 28 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-0 score and a disappointed Christoffer Engman as he didn't even see the shot coming. After 34 minutes of play, Knivsta IF's Hannes Flink made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Christoffer Engman was left in no man's land by his defense there! Christoffer Engman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hannes Flink's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. 39 minutes into the match, Knivsta IF's Karl-Åke Påk sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Christoffer Engman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Knivsta IF's Erik Sundling got a free kick in the 44th minute. 45 minutes into the match, Leif Arenstedt had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jakob Rydelius. Knivsta IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leif Arenstedt was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hannes Flink to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hannes Flink in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Christoffer Engman saved Åsbro BF from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erik Sundling in the 54th minute of play forced Åsbro BF's goalkeeper Christoffer Engman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Erik Sundling managed to get in a good position for a shot. Knivsta IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Erik Sundling was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christoffer Engman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 61 minutes into the match, Åsbro BF's goal looked a bit too open when Hannes Flink came free, but Christoffer Engman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Claes Hult fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Åsbro BF's protests and gave Claes Hult a yellow card for diving instead. Claes Hult hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. If Hannes Flink had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Christoffer Engman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hannes Flink in the 68th minute of the match. Tommy Tham might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Christoffer Engman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tommy Tham ran back to his position shaking his head. If Hannes Flink had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 75 minutes into the match, Erik Sundling had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Christoffer Engman. Åsbro BF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Erik Sundling was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. Hannes Flink sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Erik Sundling hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match.
