The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Enver Kaçkar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Enver Kaçkar might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joakim Anselius. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Enver Kaçkar ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience was convinced that Enver Kaçkar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joakim Anselius was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. In the 25th minute Ingemar Asklund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manfred Kling saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 34 minutes, Manfred Kling successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Joakim Anselius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexander Kessler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 47 played minutes Blomstermåla got a freekick which was hit by Ingemar Asklund. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gilbert Andersson to strike the kick off in the second half. Gil Amaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Joakim Anselius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Enver Kaçkar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Blomstermåla's zone, Gil Amaro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joakim Anselius came out of the goal and Gil Amaro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 57th minute, Per-Olof Stenquist fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Joakim Anselius, passed just outside the right post. Joakim Anselius didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Enver Kaçkar went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Ingemar Asklund managed to get in a good position for a shot. Blomstermåla's supporters rose to their feet, but Ingemar Asklund was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Manfred Kling breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Manfred Kling showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilbert Andersson, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. The Glidtackling fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Manfred Kling should have stopped the shot. If Enver Kaçkar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Enver Kaçkar who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 88thth minute tested the skills of Joakim Anselius when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With his leg Joakim Anselius managed to avoid a goal in the 92ndth minute, when Glidtackling's Enver Kaçkar fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Enver Kaçkar's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 94thth minute, Joakim Anselius skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When the match was over Glidtackling could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Blomstermåla throughout the match.
