Spectators: 6663 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Patrik Wennerlund kicked off to start the match. Ingmar Wallins short, quick shot in the 6thth minute got Joseph Stenberg to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 11th minute FC Columbus were awarded a corner. Ulf Blomqvist went to the cornerflag to take it. Virsbo's Joseph Stenberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Virsbo from getting a goal against them. 21 minutes into the match, Ulf Blomqvist dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Joseph Stenberg, 2-0. If Ulf Blomqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 25 played minutes FC Columbus got a freekick which was hit by Alf Ström. Christopher Blomqvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Virsbo's Joseph Stenberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulf Blomqvist in the 31st minute of play. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Ulf Blomqvist took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Joseph Stenberg to make any attempt to save it. Virsbo's Joseph Stenberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulf Blomqvist in the 42nd minute of play. Ulf Blomqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The wind increased when Ingmar Wallin made the kick off in the second half. FC Columbus were awarded a corner in the 54th minute after Virsbo's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ulf Blomqvist took the corner. The corner led FC Columbus's Ulf Blomqvist to fire away a dangerous shot which Joseph Stenberg despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Joseph Stenberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ingmar Wallin's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. Joseph Stenberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ingmar Wallin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 60 minutes into the game, FC Columbus's Ulf Blomqvist nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joseph Stenberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Jonas Månsson charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jonas Månsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The audience was convinced that Ingmar Wallin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joseph Stenberg was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ingmar Wallin in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joseph Stenberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The FC Columbus fans' excitement grew in the 74th match minute when FC Columbus's Ingmar Wallin looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Ulf Blomqvist struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Joseph Stenberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Columbus. Virsbo's Joseph Stenberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stig-Arne Grubb in the 78th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tommy Forssberg during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 79th minute, one of Virsbo:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Virsbo. The referee gave FC Columbus a penalty, 81 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Christopher Blomqvist, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Virsbo's Joseph Stenberg. 7-0. In the 84th minute Patrik Wennerlund managed to get in a great position but fired away a sharp shot that went outside the goal on the goalie's right hand side. It could just as well have been a goal. Christopher Blomqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joseph Stenberg having to interfere. In the 93rd match minute, FC Columbus was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ingmar Wallin to maneuver through the defense. Christopher Blomqvist struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Joseph Stenberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Columbus. Joseph Stenberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulf Blomqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 101st minute. FC Columbus walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
