Spectators: 7251 (Terracing: 5440, Seating: 1667, VIP seats: 144) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Kurt Tomasson took the kick off in the first half of the match. Åke Westerstrand took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 10th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Martin Classon. Olympic™'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Brian Hammarström charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Brian Hammarström the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Mölltorp booed when Olympic™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brian Hammarström didn't get a good kick on the ball. With his leg Martin Classon managed to avoid a goal in the 13thth minute, when Mölltorp's Kjell Gallberg fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Kjell Gallberg in the 21stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Martin Classon, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 21 played minutes Olympic™ got a freekick which was hit by Emanuel Mårtensson. When Brian Hammarström was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 23 minutes had been played. A collision led to Olympic™ getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Brian Hammarström hit a great ball. Åke Westerstrand, 25 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 27 minutes into the match, Olympic™'s goalkeeper Martin Classon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kjell Gallberg. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Kjell Gallberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mölltorp's supporters rose to their feet, but Kjell Gallberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Martin Classon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Martin Classon made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Kjell Gallberg sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Olympic™ getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Alf Snell hit a great ball. In the 47th play minute Kjell Gallberg came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Martin Classon. 1-3. The Mölltorp players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Olympic™ were winning 1-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Thomas Örnberg to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Kjell Gallberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kjell Gallberg in the 56th minute of play forced Olympic™'s goalkeeper Martin Classon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kjell Gallberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Martin Classon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. In the 67th minute, Kjell Gallberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Martin Classon was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-4. Martin Classon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eskil Beneth, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. In the 72nd match minute, Mölltorp was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Calle Finnman to maneuver through the defense. In the 73rd minute of the match Johannes Säfström sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Börje Siggman skillfully saved the ball. Thomas Örnberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mölltorp's Eskil Beneth got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Stefan Månsson hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Thomas Örnberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Olympic™ supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Olympic™ would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
