Claes Blomquist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 2nd minute. Gustav Wallin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joakim Säv sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carlisle United F.C's Inge Ahlgren got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 15th minute, Briljant 9's Claes Blomquist dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wiktor Fogel during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Wiktor Fogel kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Christian Fredriksson came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Carlisle United F.C's Ernst Larsson. But to his dismay, Ernst Larsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. 30 minutes into the match, Joakim Säv notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Carlisle United F.C's Gustav Wallin. Gustav Wallin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 35th minute, Carlisle United F.C's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Charles Mellin fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When Joakim Säv came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Briljant 9 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joakim Säv couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hugo Britz got free with Gustav Wallin in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 43 minutes into the match, Joakim Säv had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gustav Wallin. Carlisle United F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joakim Säv was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Christian Fredriksson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Inge Ahlgren, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joakim Säv was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Briljant 9's goalkeeper Christian Fredriksson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ernst Larsson. Gustav Wallin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joakim Säv in the 53rd minute of the match. 54 minutes into the match, Carlisle United F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Charles Mellin came free, but Gustav Wallin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Briljant 9's Per Myr suffered a concussion after 56 minutes and had to leave the field. In the 57th match minute, Carlisle United F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gert Hjeltman to maneuver through the defense. When Joakim Säv came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Briljant 9 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joakim Säv couldn't finish the play. Alex Strömberg kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Christian Fredriksson made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Ernst Larsson sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gert Hjeltman in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Christian Fredriksson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 82 minutes, Joakim Säv made it 5-1 with a short kick to the right side. Carlisle United F.C's Gustav Wallin tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Joakim Säv sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Briljant 9 fully deserved thier win.
