Spectators: 7223 (Terracing: 5419, Seating: 1661, VIP seats: 143) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Amadeo Celipe took the kick off in the first half of the match. Rutger Eskilsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Karl-Åke Odin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Amadeo Celipes short, quick shot in the 6thth minute got Karl-Åke Odin to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After having played for 7 minutes, Rutger Eskilsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Myresjö's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rutger Eskilsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kaj Vennerdal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amadeo Celipe came free with the goalkeeper in the 13th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Karl-Åke Odin could save by the left post. Myresjö's Ronny Haeger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rutger Blixt in the 16th minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Dala-Floda's goalkeeper Karl-Åke Odin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Amadeo Celipe. 27 minutes into the match, Dala-Floda's Rutger Blixt sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ronny Haeger narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ronny Haeger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rutger Blixt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Karl-Åke Odin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rutger Eskilsson in the 39th minute of play. In the 40th minute, Kent Henriksson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rutger Eskilsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Karl-Åke Odin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. Karl-Åke Odin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rutger Eskilsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kaj Vennerdal was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute, Rutger Eskilsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Myresjö fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 58th minute of the match, Rutger Blixt got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ronny Haeger was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Kåre Sandström took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 60th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Karl-Åke Odin. Dala-Floda's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Amadeo Celipe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 64 minutes of play, Dala-Floda's Rutger Blixt made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ronny Haeger was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rutger Eskilsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Dala-Floda's Karl-Åke Odin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amadeo Celipe in the 76th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rutger Eskilsson in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Karl-Åke Odin saved Dala-Floda from getting behind. When the match clock showed 85 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Amadeo Celipe sped through Dala-Floda's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Karl-Åke Odin. Karl-Åke Odin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Amadeo Celipe's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. If Kaj Vennerdal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Myresjö were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Dala-Floda for a fine match.
