Emanuel Bergqvist made in the 37th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Gösta Palm immediately put the ball in play. Gilbert Kock who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 40thth minute tested the skills of Paul Sikström when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Gösta Palm received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Thierry Bühler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Börge Flink fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thierry Bühler having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tim Käcker stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Maximilian Wallin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lunde's Paul Sikström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximilian Wallin in the 57th minute of play. In the 59th minute, Emanuel Valström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paul Sikström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximilian Wallin, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tim Käcker in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thierry Bühler saved AFC Eskilstuna from getting behind. Börge Flink kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. In the 75th minute Maximilian Wallin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paul Sikström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 76 minutes into the game, Patrick Vacker was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AFC Eskilstuna's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lunde the free kick. In the 92nd minute, Gilbert Kock got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
