Spectators: 7203 (Terracing: 5404, Seating: 1656, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rune Felin started the match with the kick off. Arne Bredberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rune Felin in the 3rd minute of the match. In the 4th minute, Allan Ekenberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 7th minute Allan Ekenberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yngve Wickander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 8 minutes into the match, Ålem's goal looked a bit too open when Gösta Jonasson came free, but Yngve Wickander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Påläng RK's Allan Ekenberg in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ålem's goalie prevented a goal. In the 12th minute, Karl-Michael Thorsberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Yngve Wickander was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 20th match minute, Påläng RK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gunnar Ahlbom to maneuver through the defense. In the 27th minute, Allan Ekenberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Karl-Michael Thorsberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 30 minutes into the match, Ålem's goal looked a bit too open when Allan Ekenberg came free, but Yngve Wickander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 32 minutes into the match, Allan Ekenberg notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Ålem's Yngve Wickander. Yngve Wickander was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Allan Ekenberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Ålem's Fabian Askelöf got a free kick in the 37th minute. Yngve Wickander didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Karl-Michael Thorsberg went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Arne Bredberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rune Felin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Allan Ekenberg to strike the kick off in the second half. Yngve Wickander was a little too slow when Allan Ekenberg got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 52nd minute. The score was now 0-4. Yngve Wickander made an important save on a dangerous shot by Allan Ekenberg in the 56th minute. Gunnar Ahlbom fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yngve Wickander having to interfere. When Påläng RK's Allan Ekenberg in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ålem's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Påläng RK booed when Ålem was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alvin Larsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Allan Ekenberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Allan Ekenberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 65th minute, Ulrik Hellström reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Yngve Wickander. The goal made the score 0-5. Allan Ekenberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Yngve Wickander. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Allan Ekenberg ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 70th play minute Karl-Michael Thorsberg came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Yngve Wickander. 0-6. After 73 minutes, Fabian Askelöf mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ålem and the Påläng RK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 76th minute, Allan Ekenberg made a precise shot to the right of Yngve Wickander. Ålem's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-7. In the 79th minute, Fabian Askelöf hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Allan Ekenberg came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Påläng RK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Allan Ekenberg couldn't finish the play. After 82 played minutes Ålem got a freekick which was hit by Alvin Larsson. Gösta Jonasson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yngve Wickander having to interfere. In the 91st minute, Gösta Jonasson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Allan Ekenberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Påläng RK's supporters rose to their feet, but Allan Ekenberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yngve Wickander breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Karl-Michael Thorsberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yngve Wickander having to interfere. In the 95th minute, Allan Ekenberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the final whistle sounded Påläng RK left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Ålem.
