In the 15th minute Karl-Ove Rudqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nils Fristedt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 15 minutes into the game, Agne Utfal recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Nils Fristedt. Agne Utfal showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Harestad IK's Nils Fristedt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Harestad IK from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Harestad IK getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Fritz Albohm hit a great ball. 22 minutes into the match, Harestad IK's goalkeeper Nils Fristedt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Remigio Prejun. Kenny Karlstedt charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Remigio Prejun in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nils Fristedt prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hille IF's Remigio Prejun got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 75th minute, Karl-Ove Rudqvist left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hille IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. Kenny Karlstedt hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. There was no doubt that Hille IF were the better team. Hille IF's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
