The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alfons Nykvist stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Andreas Rosen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Egon Paulin was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Yngve Tingberg kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. After some careless play in the IFK Viksjö defense, Alfons Nykvist kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Egon Paulin. The IFK Viksjö fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Egon Paulin should have stopped the shot. Alfons Kalfhage could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Iwan Matthijs made a huge save. Sivert Kjellman kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. IFK Viksjö's Egon Paulin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Börge Möller in the 69th minute of play. If Stig Widberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 74 minutes, Alfons Nykvist made it 6-1 with a short kick to the right side. IFK Viksjö's Egon Paulin tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, IFK Viksjö's Sivert Kjellman got a free kick in the 76th minute. 82 minutes into the match, IFK Viksjö's goal looked a bit too open when Börge Möller came free, but Egon Paulin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Börge Möller had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Egon Paulin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alfons Nykvist's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. When Jan-Ove Boman came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Mellbystrand fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jan-Ove Boman couldn't finish the play. After 95 played minutes Mellbystrand got a freekick which was hit by Nils-Åke Månsson. Alfons Kalfhage received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Iwan Matthijs tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
