Urban Billvall sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Göran Kullgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernani Lucas in the 15th minute of play. When Per-Åke Kilstedt came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the ViSuger BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Per-Åke Kilstedt couldn't finish the play. In the 17th match minute, Kviberg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frans Boman to maneuver through the defense. ViSuger BK were furious when Jan-Olof Henriksson was red carded, 19 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in ViSuger BK fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 18th minute. Penalty! Frank Odeen shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Göran Kullgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anton Lindgren, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Kviberg's Göran Kullgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benvide Pascual in the 26th minute of play. In the 27th minute ViSuger BK were awarded a corner. Måns Odeen went to the cornerflag to take it. 29 minutes into the game, Per-Åke Kilstedt cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Göran Kullgren was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kalle Enegren in the 40th minute of play forced ViSuger BK's goalkeeper Ivar Classon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 40th minute Kalle Enegren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivar Classon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Per-Åke Kilstedt came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the ViSuger BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Per-Åke Kilstedt couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as Eskil Hedbom kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ivar Classon. That made the score 1-1 in the 44 minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Per-Åke Kilstedt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Göran Kullgren having to interfere. ViSuger BK's Ivar Classon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eskil Hedbom in the 58th minute of play. Göran Kullgren was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Måns Odeen. After a defensive mix-up in Kviberg's zone, Stig-Arne Lindström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Göran Kullgren came out of the goal and Stig-Arne Lindström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Per-Åke Kilstedt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Kviberg getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Torgny Hultstrand hit a great ball. In the 75th minute, Måns Odeen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 77 minutes into the match, ViSuger BK's goal looked a bit too open when Eskil Hedbom came free, but Ivar Classon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Per-Åke Kilstedt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Göran Kullgren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 81 played minutes Kviberg got a freekick which was hit by Frans Boman. When Urban Billvall came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the ViSuger BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Urban Billvall couldn't finish the play. 89 minutes in the game, Per-Åke Kilstedt fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Göran Kullgren having to interfere.
