With an all-out effort, Lammhult's Knut Almstedt threw himself towards the right post 12 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Måns Nyman, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Lammhult's Karl-Oskar Juhlin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Grzegorz Zagrodny in the 19th minute of play. Karl-Oskar Juhlin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Grzegorz Zagrodny, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Grzegorz Zagrodny in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Karl-Oskar Juhlin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 25th minute Eric Brandin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Knut Almstedt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mattias Hökkvist's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Knut Almstedt firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 28th minute, Tor Forssberg made a precise shot to the right of Karl-Oskar Juhlin. Lammhult's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Grzegorz Zagrodny sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Måns Nyman hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Henry Elg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Lammhult fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. The red lions were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
