Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Melker Hermansson got the match started through his kick off. 4 minutes into the match, Svanskog RK's goal looked a bit too open when Melker Hermansson came free, but Sture Brander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Melker Hermansson in the 6th minute of play forced Svanskog RK's goalkeeper Sture Brander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Boris Kullgren kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Arne Valler. That made the score 1-0 in the 7 minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, Svanskog RK's goal looked a bit too open when Melker Hermansson came free, but Sture Brander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 15 minutes into the game, Joakim Björkkvist was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Svanskog RK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Carlsberg IF the free kick. The supporters of Carlsberg IF booed when Svanskog RK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joakim Björkkvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 18 minutes into the game, when Benjamin Rang put in a rough tackle. After 18 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Svanskog RK! In the 20th minute there was a penalty for Carlsberg IF. Gösta Nyström stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Sture Brander. 1-1. Sture Brander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Per-Åke Njurenius, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Melker Hermansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sture Brander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Melker Hermansson, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Svanskog RK's Sture Brander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Melker Hermansson in the 31st minute of play. 35 minutes into the game, Carlsberg IF's Vincent Bagge nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sture Brander made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Sture Brander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tzvetan Yankov in the 38th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vincent Bagge in the 40th minute of play forced Svanskog RK's goalkeeper Sture Brander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Svanskog RK defense, Tzvetan Yankov kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sture Brander. The Svanskog RK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sture Brander should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Svanskog RK getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Bo-Erik Mellin hit a great ball. After 47 played minutes, Carlsberg IF's Gösta Nyström shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Sture Brander came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Carlsberg IF reached it. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-4.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Melker Hermansson in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sture Brander saved Svanskog RK from getting behind. Melker Hermansson did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-5 to the left of a surprised Sture Brander 54 minutes into the match. Boris Kullgren kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Carlsberg IF's Lyuboslav Vlasovski got a free kick in the 66th minute. Melker Hermansson succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-6 in the 68th playminute. Carlsberg IF's Melker Hermansson got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Per-Åke Njurenius in the 77th minute of play forced Svanskog RK's goalkeeper Sture Brander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 79 minutes into the game, Gösta Nyström cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-7. Sture Brander was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Svanskog RK getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Harry Nyström hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Svanskog RK's Bernt Holmstedt got a free kick in the 84th minute. In the 87th minute, Bernt Holmstedt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sture Brander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Melker Hermansson in the 90th minute of the match. Melker Hermansson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Sture Brander made a huge save. Boris Kullgren hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. In the 96th minute Per-Åke Njurenius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sture Brander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
