Spectators: 7130 (Terracing: 5457, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 0) Hok's Cristóvão Lima started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute Olof Fors shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jochen Hemeleers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 7 minutes into the match, Hok's goal looked a bit too open when Olof Fors came free, but Jochen Hemeleers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Michel Isaksson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl-Magnus Fagerberg in the 12th minute of play forced Hok's goalkeeper Jochen Hemeleers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 13 minutes into the match, Hok's goal looked a bit too open when Olof Fors came free, but Jochen Hemeleers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joakim Winström took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jochen Hemeleers. Jochen Hemeleers dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Jochen Hemeleers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olof Fors in the 38th minute of the match. When Joakim Winström came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Gästrike-hammarby BF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joakim Winström couldn't finish the play. 41 minutes into the match, Gästrike-hammarby BF's goalkeeper Lars Godholm had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristóvão Lima. After 43 minutes, Fritz Aronsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gästrike-hammarby BF and the Hok players grew even worse after the yellow card. Olof Fors kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Olof Fors stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jochen Hemeleers made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Karl-Magnus Fagerberg sent off a good shot on target. In the 58th minute of the match Gästrike-hammarby BF got a corner. Hok's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Karl-Michael Gernberg ran over to the corner to take the kick. Gästrike-hammarby BF's Karl-Michael Gernberg was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jochen Hemeleers in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Lars Godholm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Göran Viberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Olof Fors was extremely unlucky when he, in the 69th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Anthon Wallin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 87th minute, Karl-Magnus Fagerberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Gästrike-hammarby BF's Olof Fors got a free kick in the 92nd minute. In the 95thth minute of the game Cristóvão Lima who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gästrike-hammarby BF's Lars Godholm was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Gästrike-hammarby BF walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
