Georg Säf stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vilhelm Lind's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. Georg Säf showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Likymnios Kyriakoulopoulos, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. FC Barcelona's Vilhelm Lind got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sven-Arne Linberg's late challenge caught a FC Barcelona's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. When the referee blew the final whistle, Töre could leave the field as winners, despite FC Barcelona having more of the ball for most of the match.
