When Kåre Gulliksson fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The audience was convinced that Georg Ekblom's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fabian Viberg was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. Allmänna Idrottsklubben's Håkan Svanberg was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Fabian Viberg in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After having played for 29 minutes, Georg Ekblom managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Allmänna Idrottsklubben's supporters crossed their fingers, but Georg Ekblom was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match clock showed 37 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Georg Ekblom sped through FC Xray's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fabian Viberg. After a rather tough play, FC Xray's Magnus Wallin got a free kick in the 41st minute. After taking down the ball on Allmänna Idrottsklubben's corner Fabian Karlsson fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Fabian Viberg quite easily take care of the ball. Georg Ekblom scored 0-4 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fabian Viberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Fabian Viberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Håkan Svanberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mårten Kruse made a kick off. If Allan Jakobsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Georg Ekblom who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 53rdth minute tested the skills of Fabian Viberg when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Kåre Gulliksson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jakob Svensson didn't get a good kick on the ball. 87 minutes into the match, FC Xray's goalkeeper Fabian Viberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Georg Ekblom. Allmänna Idrottsklubben's Allan Jakobsson got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 93rd minute Georg Ekblom shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabian Viberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 95th play minutes Georg Ekblom shot 0-9, a short shot which went by Fabian Viberg and just under the crossbar into goal. When the final whistle sounded Allmänna Idrottsklubben left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than FC Xray.
