After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Fritz Månsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. ifk sundsvall's supporters rose to their feet, but Fritz Månsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Torgny Gustavsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Nils-Åke Bolander managed to get in a good position for a shot. ifk sundsvall's supporters rose to their feet, but Nils-Åke Bolander was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Torgny Gustavsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Torgny Gustavsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nils-Åke Bolander in the 17th minute of play. Isaac Lidberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Torgny Gustavsson came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by ifk sundsvall's Isaac Lidberg. But to his dismay, Isaac Lidberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Linus Söderquist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Christian Fransson in the 26th minute. Torgny Gustavsson came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by ifk sundsvall's Nils-Åke Bolander. But to his dismay, Nils-Åke Bolander quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 43 minutes into the match, Ormaryd RK's goal looked a bit too open when Nils-Åke Bolander came free, but Torgny Gustavsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

Nils-Åke Bolander had several of the Ormaryd RK's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 53 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-3 score and a disappointed Torgny Gustavsson as he didn't even see the shot coming. When ifk sundsvall's Fritz Månsson in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Ormaryd RK's Torgny Gustavsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nils-Åke Bolander in the 63rd minute of play. Torgny Gustavsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nils-Åke Bolander, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as ifk sundsvall's Fritz Månsson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Torgny Gustavsson. That made the score 0-4 after 66 minutes of play. In the 70th minute, Nils-Åke Bolander reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Torgny Gustavsson. The goal made the score 0-5. If Nils-Åke Bolander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 78 minutes, Fritz Månsson made it 0-6 with a short kick to the right side. Ormaryd RK's Torgny Gustavsson tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 84th match minute, Ormaryd RK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Einar Håkansson to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 85 minutes, Nils-Åke Bolander managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ifk sundsvall's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nils-Åke Bolander was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of ifk sundsvall booed when Ormaryd RK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christian Fransson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nils-Åke Bolander who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 90thth minute tested the skills of Torgny Gustavsson when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ormaryd RK's Torgny Gustavsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Ormaryd RK from getting a goal against them. In the 94th minute, Einar Håkansson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
