Răzvan Donciu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hubert Bure having to interfere. Ximenez Rujula hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Hubert Bure came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Malungsfors's Arne Isaksson. But to his dismay, Arne Isaksson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Brian Gustafsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Boris Ahlström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. Djuråsampthon FC's Hubert Bure proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Djuråsampthon FC from getting a goal against them. 18 minutes into the match, Djuråsampthon FC's Jonathan Lindberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Boris Ahlström narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arne Isaksson in the 22nd minute of play forced Djuråsampthon FC's goalkeeper Hubert Bure to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 26 minutes into the match, Einar Jönsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hubert Bure. Djuråsampthon FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Einar Jönsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Arne Isaksson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Hubert Bure tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 32 minutes into the match, Arne Isaksson dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Hubert Bure, 3-0. Hubert Bure made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Arne Isaksson sent off a good shot on target. Arne Isaksson received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Hubert Bure came out and tried to block the shot, but Arne Isaksson slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 40th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Brian Gustafsson was the one to do the kick off. When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Arne Isaksson put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Hubert Bure. Hubert Bure showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Einar Jönsson in the 62nd minute of the match. Hubert Bure made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Einar Jönsson in the 63rd minute of play. Einar Jönsson took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hubert Bure. Hubert Bure dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. Hubert Bure came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Malungsfors's Válter Bittencourt. But to his dismay, Válter Bittencourt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. When Zdzislaw Giec came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Malungsfors fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zdzislaw Giec couldn't finish the play. Malungsfors's Boris Ahlström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brian Gustafsson in the 77th minute of play. Răzvan Donciu took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hubert Bure. Hubert Bure dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 10-0. Hubert Bure showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Válter Bittencourt, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arne Isaksson in the 90th minute of play forced Djuråsampthon FC's goalkeeper Hubert Bure to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 96th minute, Arne Isaksson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hubert Bure was frozen by the shot and now it was 11-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Malungsfors fully deserved thier win.
