Elliott Nykvist hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Klas Gustavsson in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Allan Algren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Allan Algren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Klas Gustavsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 18 minutes, Karl-Axel Mickelsson made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Holm BK's Allan Algren tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 35th match minute, Olsfors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Melker Tinglöv to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jens-Ove Vallgren during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 38th minute, Jens-Ove Vallgren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Holm BK's Valter Månsson shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 40th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Erland Håkansson but with some difficulty. After 44 minutes, Valter Månsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Holm BK and the Olsfors players grew even worse after the yellow card. Valter Månsson kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Allan Algren stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Karl-Axel Mickelsson's shot from short distance in the 47th minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Karl-Axel Mickelsson was the one to do the kick off. Through an outstanding action, after 57 minutes, Allan Algren successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a rather tough play, Olsfors's Karl-Magnus Lundblad got a free kick in the 58th minute. Allan Algren made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Klas Gustavsson sent off a good shot on target. In the 62nd minute, Karl-Axel Mickelsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Olsfors's Karl-Axel Mickelsson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Allan Algren. That made the score 0-2 after 64 minutes of play. If Klas Gustavsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sven-Olof Qvarnström couldn't finish the play. If Karl-Axel Mickelsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
