When the match had gone on for 7 minutes, Paulino Aragones took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Robin Fastesson to make any attempt to save it. Julian Gervaso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Otto Vidman during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 11th match minute, Västervik was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Otto Vidman to maneuver through the defense. In the 13th play minute Julian Gervaso came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Robin Fastesson. 2-0. 16 minutes into the game, Paulino Aragones recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Robin Fastesson. Paulino Aragones showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. Robert Dalkvist might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Per-Oskar Nyberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Robert Dalkvist ran back to his position shaking his head. Per-Oskar Nyberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robert Dalkvist in the 26th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Galatasaray SK defense, Otto Vidman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Per-Oskar Nyberg. The Galatasaray SK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Per-Oskar Nyberg should have stopped the shot. Paulino Aragones sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Per-Oskar Nyberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robert Dalkvist in the 35th minute of play. Robert Dalkvist took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Per-Oskar Nyberg. Per-Oskar Nyberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. In the 41st minute, Otto Vidman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Västervik fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Otto Vidman made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Julian Gervaso made a precise shot to the right of Robin Fastesson. Västervik's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-3. Julian Gervaso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robin Fastesson having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Galatasaray SK's zone, Otto Vidman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Per-Oskar Nyberg came out of the goal and Otto Vidman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sonny Öberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Robin Fastesson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Galatasaray SK's Per-Oskar Nyberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Galatasaray SK from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Västervik's Hannes Nordström got a free kick in the 69th minute. Julian Gervaso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Paulino Aragones received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Robin Fastesson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Olov Hammarström charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Olov Hammarström the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Västervik's Robin Fastesson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulino Aragones in the 80th minute of play. In the 82nd minute, Julian Gervaso made a precise shot to the right of Robin Fastesson. Västervik's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-3. A collision led to Galatasaray SK getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Jack Giöck hit a great ball. With an all-out effort, Västervik's Per-Oskar Nyberg threw himself towards the right post 95 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Otto Vidman, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. There was no doubt that Galatasaray SK were the better team. Galatasaray SK's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
