In the 6th minute of the match Tomas Beckeman shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but John Turner showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Kristoffer Åström kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Malcolm Lindkvist. That made the score 1-0 in the 7 minute of play. John Turner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jon Bållström, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Malcolm Lindkvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kristoffer Åström in the 13th minute of the match. Team Viole's Oscar Vallander managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Tomas Beckeman in the 17 minute of the game. Oscar Vallander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Malcolm Lindkvist having to interfere. Jörgen Löv made in the 23rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Team Viole's Oscar Vallander. When Team Viole's Kristoffer Åström in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rosvik's goalie prevented a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Tommy Ekrot managed to get in a good position for a shot. The supporters of Rosvik booed when Team Viole was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kristoffer Åström didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Team Viole's zone, Jon Bållström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. John Turner came out of the goal and Jon Bållström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 31st minute Jon Bållström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but John Turner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. John Turner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nils-Emil Pihlblad in the 35th minute of the match. If Tommy Ekrot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kristoffer Åström to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kristoffer Åström in the 51st minute of play forced Rosvik's goalkeeper Malcolm Lindkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. John Turner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nils-Emil Pihlblad in the 52nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Rosvik's Dick Gustavsson got a free kick in the 71st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nils-Emil Pihlblad in the 75th minute of play forced Team Viole's goalkeeper John Turner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Team Viole's Kristoffer Åström in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Pelle Wickander lost his temper 83 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Team Viole fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 82nd minute. Penalty! Tomas Kielberg shot the penalty kick right outside the post. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Jan-Ove Hermansson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Team Viole's supporters rose to their feet, but Jan-Ove Hermansson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
