Kurt Lindholm was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 37thth minute of the game Michael Forss who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ljungskile's Kurt Lindholm was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 37 played minutes Ljungskile got a freekick which was hit by Robin Lundström. After 39 played minutes Smygehamn RK got a freekick which was hit by Bror Norberg. Ragnar Berg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robin Lundström in the 42nd minute of the match. Kurt Lindholm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michael Forss, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernt Hernström in the 44th minute of play forced Smygehamn RK's goalkeeper Ragnar Berg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Henry Bäckman made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Smygehamn RK's Philip Gråberg got a free kick in the 54th minute. Esbjörn Hammarbäck struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Kurt Lindholm didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Smygehamn RK. After 59 minutes of play, Smygehamn RK's Esbjörn Hammarbäck made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kurt Lindholm was left in no man's land by his defense there! Kurt Lindholm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Esbjörn Hammarbäck, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Börge Nykvist came free with the goalkeeper in the 63rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ragnar Berg could save by the left post. Börge Nykvist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Ragnar Berg made a huge save. Bror Norberg kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. 76 minutes into the game, Sebastian Godholm was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Smygehamn RK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ljungskile the free kick. A collision led to Smygehamn RK getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Ragnar Berg acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 77th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Markus Kilman. 78 minutes into the match, Smygehamn RK's goal looked a bit too open when Henry Bäckman came free, but Ragnar Berg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 88th match minute, Smygehamn RK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Philip Gråberg to maneuver through the defense. Smygehamn RK's Ragnar Berg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henry Bäckman in the 91st minute of play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
