Spectators: 6651 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1651, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Dag Lundqvist kicked off to start the match. André Täman came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Rosengård's Karl Võsomägi. But to his dismay, Karl Võsomägi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 8th match minute, FC Rosengård was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustaf Gadd to maneuver through the defense. Kevin Runberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronny Gernberg having to interfere. When Karl Võsomägi came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the FC Rosengård fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Karl Võsomägi couldn't finish the play. Karl Võsomägi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. André Täman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 19thth minute of the game Dag Lundqvist who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pilgrimstad IFK's André Täman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. André Täman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dag Lundqvist's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. André Täman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dag Lundqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. 27 minutes into the game, Ingvar Ekeroth was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Rosengård's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pilgrimstad IFK the free kick. Karl Võsomägi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. André Täman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. David Holmgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronny Gernberg having to interfere. Dag Lundqvist charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dag Lundqvist the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Kevin Runberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sven-Edvin Kiempe made in the 46th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by FC Rosengård's Ingvar Ekeroth. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dag Lundqvist in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck André Täman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for David Holmgren to strike the kick off in the second half. Dag Lundqvists short, quick shot in the 52ndth minute got André Täman to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leif Qvarnström during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 53 played minutes Pilgrimstad IFK got a freekick which was hit by Leif Qvarnström. In the 62nd minute David Holmgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronny Gernberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 64 played minutes, FC Rosengård's Jörn Pilblad shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper André Täman came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Rosengård reached it. In the 65th minute, Leif Qvarnström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Karl Võsomägi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. André Täman came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by FC Rosengård's Erik Ekrot. But to his dismay, Erik Ekrot quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Karl Võsomägi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rolf Mossberg during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 77th match minute, Pilgrimstad IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rolf Mossberg to maneuver through the defense. After taking down the ball on FC Rosengård's corner Gustaf Gadd fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and André Täman quite easily take care of the ball. During the 86th minute of the match Ingvar Ekeroth completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Ingvar Ekeroth a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Ingvar Ekeroth hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Ronny Gernberg came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Pilgrimstad IFK's David Holmgren. But to his dismay, David Holmgren quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. FC Rosengård's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
