In the 12th minute Eddie Lingren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernt Bogren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niklas Apelquist in the 27th minute of play forced Grödinge's goalkeeper Karl-Magnus Lundhberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Karl-Magnus Lundhberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Valentin Melberg in the 28th minute. With a little luck, Grödinge's Karl-Magnus Lundhberg got control of the ball when Niklas Apelquist tried to sneak it across the goal line. Karl-Magnus Lundhberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Charles Jönsson in the 48th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Allan Kiempe to strike the kick off in the second half. The throw-in from Rune Ingemarsson in the 55th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Grödinge's Boris Kilstedt. Karl-Magnus Lundhberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viggo Käller in the 61st minute of play. Karl-Magnus Lundhberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viggo Käller, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. In the 69th minute, Grödinge's Allan Kiempe dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Grödinge's attentive Sture Alström managed to snatch the ball when Valentin Melberg made a throw-in in the 88th minute of the game. In the 88th minute, Sture Alström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Karl-Magnus Lundhberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viggo Käller in the 91st minute of the match. Grödinge's Sture Alström got his second yellow card of the match in the 93rd minute. The referee ordered Sture Alström off the ground. In the 95th minute, Sture Alström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
