The supporters of Bollknallarna booed when Lessebo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nils-Emil Benet didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Pelle Siggesson came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Lessebo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pelle Siggesson couldn't finish the play. When Lessebo's Jan-Olof Nyström in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Jan-Olof Nyström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lessebo's supporters rose to their feet, but Jan-Olof Nyström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andy Bengtsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 27 minutes into the game, Albin Hake was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bollknallarna's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lessebo the free kick. 27 minutes into the match, Lessebo's Ingvar Söderlund broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. With a little luck, Lessebo's Niclas Bivall got control of the ball when Hans Forsell tried to sneak it across the goal line. Stig-Ove Björk might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Andy Bengtsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Stig-Ove Björk ran back to his position shaking his head. Pelle Siggesson took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Andy Bengtsson. Andy Bengtsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Jan-Olof Nyström might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Andy Bengtsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jan-Olof Nyström ran back to his position shaking his head. When Linus Kruuse fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bollknallarna's protests and gave Linus Kruuse a yellow card for diving instead. In the 44th minute there was a penalty for Lessebo. Ingvar Söderlund stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Andy Bengtsson. 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Charlie Falck stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Niclas Bivall showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Charlie Falck, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Niclas Bivall didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Charlie Falck went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. If Hans Forsell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Pelle Siggesson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 62nd minute, Stig-Ove Björk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Pelle Siggesson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pelle Siggesson in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Andy Bengtsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Andy Bengtsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pelle Siggesson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Niclas Bivall showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Charlie Falck in the 91st minute of the match. The Bollknallarna fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Lessebo were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
