In the 13th minute, Birger Bivall hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FC COOL's Patrick Sundling played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Boycho Litov in the 15th minute of play. After 19 minutes, Boycho Litov made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. FC COOL's Patrick Sundling tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Boycho Litov hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. After 77 played minutes, Dynamo Sóprón 1956's Calle Hellbom shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Patrick Sundling came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Dynamo Sóprón 1956 reached it. 83 minutes into the game, Boycho Litov cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Patrick Sundling was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Calle Hellbom took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Patrick Sundling. Patrick Sundling dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Patrick Sundling showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfred van Basten, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. FC COOL's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
