Håkan Kollberg's late challenge caught a Nybro FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Håkan Kollberg helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, K-Town's Håkan Kollberg got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Cengizhan Mengü received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Sven-Edvin Sandberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cengizhan Mengü recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Nybro FK's zone, Wilhelm Hult stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Uno Sörman came out of the goal and Wilhelm Hult tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pål Lund kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cengizhan Mengü in the 31st minute of play forced K-Town's goalkeeper Sven-Edvin Sandberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 33rd minute Elias Höijer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Uno Sörman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cengizhan Mengü struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Sven-Edvin Sandberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nybro FK. Sven-Edvin Sandberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cengizhan Mengü, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Henning Klack blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sven-Edvin Sandberg having to make a save. Cengizhan Mengü fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven-Edvin Sandberg having to interfere. In the 42nd minute, Anastasios Psaltis made a precise shot to the right of Sven-Edvin Sandberg. K-Town's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in K-Town's zone, Cengizhan Mengü stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sven-Edvin Sandberg came out of the goal and Cengizhan Mengü tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cengizhan Mengü to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Cengizhan Mengü dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Sven-Edvin Sandberg, 0-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Melker Lindgren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nybro FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Melker Lindgren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sven-Edvin Sandberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sven-Edvin Sandberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cengizhan Mengü's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. Aron Holm took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Uno Sörman. Uno Sörman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Robin Gallin managed to get in a good position for a shot. K-Town's supporters rose to their feet, but Robin Gallin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Uno Sörman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sven-Edvin Sandberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cengizhan Mengü in the 76th minute of play. If Cengizhan Mengü had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anastasios Psaltis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcus Österberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Uno Sörman having to interfere. Cengizhan Mengü recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Cengizhan Mengü had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 90 minutes into the match, K-Town's goalkeeper Sven-Edvin Sandberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anastasios Psaltis. Nybro FK's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
