Per-Erik Magnusson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ingvar Falkrantz's late challenge caught a Torpshammar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ingvar Falkrantz helped the player get up and apologised. Ingvar Falkrantz hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. 19 minutes into the match, Dream Team's goal looked a bit too open when Sverker Bremming came free, but Per-Erik Magnusson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sverker Bremming recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jens Lundgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Billy Hökkvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Patrick Lundberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Per-Erik Magnusson having to interfere. Per-Erik Magnusson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sverker Bremming's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. If Sverker Bremming had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dream Team's Per-Erik Magnusson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sverker Bremming in the 36th minute of play. Sverker Bremming took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Per-Erik Magnusson. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sverker Bremming to make the kick off. The Dream Team fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Per-Erik Magnusson should have stopped the shot. Torpshammar's Sverker Bremming was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 94th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. The Dream Team fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Torpshammar were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
