After having played for 5 minutes, Jan-Ove Zachrisson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vad IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jan-Ove Zachrisson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Felix Lång kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Elias Nykvist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Sebastian Kihlberg made a huge save. Wilhelm Trillkott received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Sebastian Kihlberg came out and tried to block the shot, but Wilhelm Trillkott slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 9th minute. Sebastian Kihlberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bengt-Åke Hellström in the 14th minute of the match. Felix Lång charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Felix Lång the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 16 played minutes AIK Solna got a freekick which was hit by Felix Lång. In the 27th minute, Bengt-Åke Hellström reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Sebastian Kihlberg. The goal made the score 3-0. Oskar Kollberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Olof Ek read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. AIK Solna's Sebastian Kihlberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save AIK Solna from getting a goal against them. Sebastian Kihlberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan-Ove Zachrisson in the 40th minute of play. When Gunnar Sandström fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AIK Solna's protests and gave Gunnar Sandström a yellow card for diving instead. After 42 played minutes AIK Solna got a freekick which was hit by Gunnar Sandström. Sebastian Kihlberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan-Ove Zachrisson in the 44th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan-Ove Zachrisson in the 46th minute of play forced AIK Solna's goalkeeper Sebastian Kihlberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sebastian Kihlberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan-Ove Zachrisson, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jan-Ove Zachrisson was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Jan-Ove Zachrisson notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of AIK Solna's Sebastian Kihlberg. Sebastian Kihlberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, AIK Solna's Viktor Lindsten got a free kick in the 56th minute. After 57 played minutes, Vad IF's Erling Giöck shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Sebastian Kihlberg came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Vad IF reached it. After a rather tough play, AIK Solna's Felix Lång got a free kick in the 62nd minute. When Wilhelm Olofsson came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Vad IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wilhelm Olofsson couldn't finish the play. Sebastian Kihlberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jan-Ove Zachrisson went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Sebastian Kihlberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan-Ove Zachrisson in the 74th minute of the match. Sebastian Kihlberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emil Wallin in the 80th minute of play. AIK Solna made a substitution. Mikael Ahlquist replaced Hugo Gustavsson. Erling Giöck took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 88th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sebastian Kihlberg. AIK Solna's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Sebastian Kihlberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bengt-Åke Hellström in the 91st minute of play. The supporters of Vad IF booed when AIK Solna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Krister Hansson didn't get a good kick on the ball.
