Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Karl-Ove Hamnberg got the match started through his kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Klas Löv in the 3rd minute of play forced Rydebäck IFK's goalkeeper Ulf Bokelund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Billy Fogel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Ulf Bokelund made a huge save. 11 minutes into the match, Rydebäck IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Billy Bäcklin came free, but Ulf Bokelund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Billy Fogel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Billy Bäcklin in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ulf Bokelund prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Karl-Ove Hamnberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Calle Levander tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Karl-Ove Hamnberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ronny Ekström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ronny Ekström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 25 minutes into the match, Käringön's goal looked a bit too open when Karl-Ove Hamnberg came free, but Calle Levander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ronny Ekström took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Calle Levander. Calle Levander dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 39 minutes into the match, Rydebäck IFK's Ronny Ekström sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Calle Levander narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Käringön's goalkeeper Calle Levander, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Calle Levander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl-Ove Hamnberg in the 46th minute of play. The Käringön players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Rydebäck IFK were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Billy Bäcklin was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Billy Fogel in the 53rd minute of play forced Rydebäck IFK's goalkeeper Ulf Bokelund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ronny Ekström got free with Calle Levander in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Calle Levander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl-Ove Hamnberg in the 67th minute of the match. Klas Löv kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. After having played for 69 minutes, Ronny Ekström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rydebäck IFK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ronny Ekström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 72nd minute Karl-Ove Hamnberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Calle Levander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Alvin Ahlstedt's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Calle Levander was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. After some careless play in the Rydebäck IFK defense, Billy Fogel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ulf Bokelund. The Rydebäck IFK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ulf Bokelund should have stopped the shot. Ronny Ekström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Anthon Sundling hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. If Ronny Ekström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Käringön's Jens-Åke Rönn got a free kick in the 87th minute. Käringön's Calle Levander proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Käringön from getting a goal against them. Tobias Dahlbom kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. 90 minutes into the match, Ronny Ekström notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Käringön's Calle Levander. Calle Levander was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
