George Magnusson charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed George Magnusson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 52nd match minute, Guldsmedshyttan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by George Magnusson to maneuver through the defense. Jerry Gregersson might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Olof Lundgren. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. The Hofors FK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. 68 minutes into the game, Jan-Åke Hedberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hofors FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Guldsmedshyttan the free kick. After having played for 72 minutes, Jan-Åke Hedberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hofors FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jan-Åke Hedberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dick Vidman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Dick Vidman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guldsmedshyttan's supporters rose to their feet, but Dick Vidman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Michael Beck breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Guldsmedshyttan booed when Hofors FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eric Frisck didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 89th minute, Baturalp Aktan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
