BK Gnome's Henry Hägg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonathan Vennerdal in the 4th minute of play. The supporters of BK Gnome booed when PAO-FC 1908 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Georg Gerdberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. 8 minutes into the match, BK Gnome's goalkeeper Henry Hägg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jonathan Vennerdal. Jonathan Vennerdal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henry Hägg having to interfere. The supporters of PAO-FC 1908 booed when BK Gnome was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nils-Erik Ersman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fernando Toledo took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leif Magnusson. Leif Magnusson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The supporters of BK Gnome booed when PAO-FC 1908 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alf Sjöberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. 24 minutes into the game, Claes Andreasson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. BK Gnome's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave PAO-FC 1908 the free kick. In the 24th minute, Claes Andreasson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. PAO-FC 1908's Valdemar Kihlman got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to BK Gnome getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Edwin Mårtensson hit a great ball. 30 minutes into the match, PAO-FC 1908's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Toledo came free, but Leif Magnusson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Esbjörn Sandström was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 38 minutes into the match. 37 minutes into the game, one of PAO-FC 1908:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave BK Gnome a penalty, 39 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Nils-Erik Ersman, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of PAO-FC 1908's Leif Magnusson. 0-2. After 41 played minutes PAO-FC 1908 got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Vennerdal. Leif Magnusson came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by BK Gnome's Carl Karlberg. But to his dismay, Carl Karlberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. After the first half BK Gnome were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Carl Karlberg made a kick off. Jonathan Vennerdal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henry Hägg having to interfere. If Valdemar Kihlman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 68 minutes into the match, Carl Karlberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leif Magnusson. PAO-FC 1908's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Carl Karlberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. 崔坤文 hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. In the 74th match minute, BK Gnome was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nils-Erik Ersman to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice moves Carl Karlberg could shoot a difficult shot in the 78th minute, which Leif Magnusson however easily saved by the left post. In the 82nd match minute, PAO-FC 1908 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alf Sjöberg to maneuver through the defense. 90 minutes into the match, BK Gnome's goal looked a bit too open when Jonathan Vennerdal came free, but Henry Hägg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, BK Gnome's Leif Magnusson threw himself towards the right post 95 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Fernando Toledo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When the final whistle sounded BK Gnome left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than PAO-FC 1908.
