The coaching staff of Vollsjö FK protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Lars Stål had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 6 minutes into the game, one of Vollsjö FK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Paiders's goalkeeper Kurt Mikaelsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Samuel Sandberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kurt Mikaelsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samuel Sandberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Magne Beck stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Petter Johansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 79 minutes into the game, Svante Harman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vollsjö FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Paiders the free kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Gilbert Olofsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Paiders's supporters rose to their feet, but Gilbert Olofsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aleksander Strandberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ted Hagberg in the 83rd minute of play forced Vollsjö FK's goalkeeper Aleksander Strandberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kurt Mikaelsson was a little too slow when Sten Lindholm got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 84th minute. The score was now 1-5. Samuel Sandberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kurt Mikaelsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. Samuel Sandberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Kurt Mikaelsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Petter Johansson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vollsjö FK's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
