Kurt Mikaelsson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Rune Asmundsson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 6thth minute tested the skills of Kurt Mikaelsson when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With a little luck, FC Paiders's Kurt Mikaelsson got control of the ball when Rune Asmundsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Börje Forsell could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Kurt Mikaelsson made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Magne Beck during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 12th match minute, FC Paiders was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Magne Beck to maneuver through the defense. FC Paiders's Kurt Mikaelsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save FC Paiders from getting a goal against them. D.J. Lindberg hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Paul Tinglöv's shot from long distance in the 18th minute was not bad at all, but FC Paiders's Kurt Mikaelsson knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. Kurt Mikaelsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rune Asmundsson's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. The audience was convinced that Rune Asmundsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kurt Mikaelsson was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. 29 minutes into the game, Rune Asmundsson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Kurt Mikaelsson. Rune Asmundsson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Through an outstanding action, after 37 minutes, Kurt Mikaelsson successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 40th minute, D.J. Lindberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in FC Paiders's zone, Ludwig Wallgren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kurt Mikaelsson came out of the goal and Ludwig Wallgren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rune Asmundsson was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Rune Asmundsson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Kurt Mikaelsson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The long shot by D.J. Lindberg in the 56th minute really tested Folke Ekman's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. When the match clock showed 58 minutes, the score became 4-1 when Börje Forsell sped through FC Paiders's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Kurt Mikaelsson. Folke Ekman was out of position in the 65 minute of play, and Magne Beck capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Magne Beck really showed his touch with that goal: 4-2. Gilbert Olofsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Folke Ekman made a huge save. FC Paiders's Kurt Mikaelsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Börje Forsell in the 72nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Börje Forsell in the 74th minute of play forced FC Paiders's goalkeeper Kurt Mikaelsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Ted Hagberg fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Paiders's protests and gave Ted Hagberg a yellow card for diving instead. Kurt Mikaelsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rune Asmundsson's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. 86 minutes into the match, FC Paiders's goal looked a bit too open when Rune Asmundsson came free, but Kurt Mikaelsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ludwig Wallgren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 89 minutes into the match, FC Paiders's goal looked a bit too open when Börje Forsell came free, but Kurt Mikaelsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rune Asmundsson in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kurt Mikaelsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the referee ended the match the AC Yojimbo players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
