Norråker's Fredrik Johansson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Norråker from getting a goal against them. Evert Falkrantz kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Martin Malmgren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Jönsson in the 28th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Axel Jönsson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Norråker's goalkeeper Fredrik Johansson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Axel Jönsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Martin Malmgren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ove Uggstedt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Åke Lindström's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Martin Malmgren read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. The Husum IFK fans' excitement grew in the 64th match minute when Husum IFK's Bengt-Åke Ek looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 76th minute, Bengt-Åke Ek ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fredrik Johansson was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. After 81 minutes, Joar Berggren mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Husum IFK and the Norråker players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Husum IFK's Joar Berggren got a free kick in the 81st minute. If Åke Lindström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Axel Jönsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Norråker's supporters rose to their feet, but Axel Jönsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Martin Malmgren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Eric Hedlund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 93 minutes, Åke Lindström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Norråker's supporters crossed their fingers, but Åke Lindström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Norråker's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Husum IFK had won, even though Norråker had held more of the ball.
