A hard shot 21 in the game by Joar Alströmmer from a close distance when the talented Jimmy Täman managed to make a qualified save. The Baggerams's players were relieved. An unexpectedly hard shot by Charles Vesterberg in the 22nd minute of play forced Åsensbruk's goalkeeper Marko Åkesson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joar Alströmmer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Jimmy Täman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 44 minutes into the game, Åsensbruk's Joar Alströmmer nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jimmy Täman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. A collision led to The Baggerams getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Ove Lund hit a great ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pål Blomberg to make the kick off. Marko Åkesson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronny Åkesson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Martin Bokelund recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Martin Bokelund fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Åsensbruk's protests and gave Martin Bokelund a yellow card for diving instead. In the 62nd minute, Martin Bokelund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Martin Bokelund's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jimmy Täman was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. Egon Kilberg's late challenge caught a The Baggerams's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Egon Kilberg helped the player get up and apologised. Egon Kilberg kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Marko Åkesson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pål Blomberg in the 70th minute of play. Joar Alströmmer might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jimmy Täman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Joar Alströmmer ran back to his position shaking his head. 75 minutes into the match, Åsensbruk's Joar Alströmmer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jimmy Täman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind The Baggerams's goalkeeper Jimmy Täman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 83 minutes into the match, The Baggerams's goal looked a bit too open when Joar Alströmmer came free, but Jimmy Täman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Joar Alströmmer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 89 minutes, Vincent Svensson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the The Baggerams and the Åsensbruk players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 89th match minute, The Baggerams was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vincent Svensson to maneuver through the defense. Åsensbruk's Fredrik Söderkvist couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 90th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for The Baggerams. Åsensbruk walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
