Christer Linqvist helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Näshulta fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 3rd minute. Penalty! Per-Åke Brummer walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Elliott Ljungberg struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Adrian Eskilsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Näshulta. Adrian Eskilsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leif Bergkvist went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Adrian Eskilsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ingvar Ljungberg in the 18th minute of play. Adrian Eskilsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Elliott Ljungberg went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Jens Ahlstedt kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Adrian Eskilsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leif Bergkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Västerås M.M's zone, Leif Bergkvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adrian Eskilsson came out of the goal and Leif Bergkvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 41 minutes, Ingvar Ljungberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Näshulta and the Västerås M.M players grew even worse after the yellow card. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 61st minute, Västerås M.M's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Leif Bergkvist fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Håkan Säf made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Dalström in the 65th minute of play. A collision led to Näshulta getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Adrian Eskilsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Per-Åke Brummer fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Västerås M.M's protests and gave Per-Åke Brummer a yellow card for diving instead. In the 76th minute, Per-Åke Brummer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Näshulta:s Håkan Säf showed great skill when he stopped Per-Åke Brummer:s penalty. In the 88th minute, Jan-Erik Linqvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Elliott Ljungberg got free with Adrian Eskilsson in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Elliott Ljungberg came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Näshulta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elliott Ljungberg couldn't finish the play. Håkan Säf showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Birger Sundberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. With a little luck, Västerås M.M's Adrian Eskilsson got control of the ball when Elliott Ljungberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. 97 minutes into the match, Näshulta's goal looked a bit too open when Birger Sundberg came free, but Håkan Säf reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Västerås M.M supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Näshulta's performance. The match ended with a win for Näshulta.
