A wasted opportunity for Lilla edet. Östra Frölunda's Gustav Bohlin got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Östra Frölunda's Konrad Asklöv proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Östra Frölunda from getting a goal against them. Karl-Åke Näver took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustav Bohlin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustav Bohlin in the 16th minute of play forced Lilla edet's goalkeeper Karl-Åke Näver to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gabriel Lindqvist got free with Konrad Asklöv in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 0-1 became the score in the 25th minute when Gustav Bohlin elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Gabriel Lindqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gabriel Lindqvist got free with Konrad Asklöv in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 33rd minute Tim Sjöö shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Åke Näver saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Karl-Åke Näver showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustav Bohlin, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tim Sjöö in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Karl-Åke Näver saved Lilla edet from getting behind. Gabriel Lindqvist hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Karl-Åke Näver showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustav Bohlin, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. 45 minutes into the game, Rune Hedlund cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Karl-Åke Näver was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gabriel Lindqvist made a kick off. Patrik Hedbom kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Gustav Bohlin hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Konrad Asklöv took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Morgan Möller, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tim Sjöö received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Karl-Åke Näver tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tim Sjöö recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Östra Frölunda's Rune Hedlund got a free kick in the 69th minute. With a little luck, Lilla edet's Karl-Åke Näver got control of the ball when Gustav Bohlin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pelle Allbom kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Tim Sjöö hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. If Morgan Möller had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 81st minute, Östra Frölunda's Gustav Bohlin dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. In the 84th minute, Rune Hedlund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Morgan Möller received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Konrad Asklöv tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 94 minutes into the game, Tim Sjöö recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Karl-Åke Näver. Tim Sjöö showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Östra Frölunda walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
