After 3 played minutes Sätila got a freekick which was hit by Richard Tillman. Morgan Möller's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Erik Björklund read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. Tom Sandström kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. In the 8th minute Morgan Möller shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erik Björklund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 16th minute, Patric Svanberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Richard Tillman kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. If Gabriel Lindqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Karl-Åke Näver made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johannes Holmgren in the 26th minute of play. A collision led to Lilla edet getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Ingvar Gustavsson hit a great ball. The long shot by Karl-Oskar Hedman in the 31st minute really tested Karl-Åke Näver's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The supporters of Lilla edet booed when Sätila was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan-Olof Boman didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Johannes Holmgren to strike the kick off in the second half. If Oskar Martinsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Erik Björklund made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Gabriel Lindqvist sent off a good shot on target. Morgan Möller fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erik Björklund having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oskar Martinsson in the 66th minute of play forced Lilla edet's goalkeeper Karl-Åke Näver to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gabriel Lindqvist in the 69thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Erik Björklund, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 72 minutes into the match, Sätila's goal looked a bit too open when Morgan Möller came free, but Erik Björklund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 91st match minute, Sätila was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tom Sandström to maneuver through the defense. When Lilla edet's Gabriel Lindqvist in 92 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Erik Björklund guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Morgan Möller received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Erik Björklund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Lilla edet fans' excitement grew in the 95th match minute when Lilla edet's Gabriel Lindqvist looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Lilla edet played a much better game than Sätila and deserved their victory. The Sätila players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
