Albin Östlund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niklas Broberg in the 15th minute of the match. 19 minutes into the match, Göngu-Hrólfs 49ers's goalkeeper Bengt-Rune Kjellberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dênis Neiva. If Leontin Pogea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The throw-in from Olof Hedkvist in the 24th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Älmestad IFK's Edwin Mellberg. After 28 played minutes Göngu-Hrólfs 49ers got a freekick which was hit by Olof Hedkvist. Egil Söderberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Bengt-Rune Kjellberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dênis Neiva scored 2-0 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bengt-Rune Kjellberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Göngu-Hrólfs 49ers's zone, Leontin Pogea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bengt-Rune Kjellberg came out of the goal and Leontin Pogea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dan Eliasson hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. In the 42nd match minute, Göngu-Hrólfs 49ers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomas Uter to maneuver through the defense. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 51st minute Leontin Pogea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bengt-Rune Kjellberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bengt-Rune Kjellberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dênis Neiva in the 64th minute of play. Bengt-Rune Kjellberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leontin Pogea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 67 minutes into the match, Leontin Pogea had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bengt-Rune Kjellberg. Göngu-Hrólfs 49ers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leontin Pogea was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Älmestad IFK's Henry Kilström was substituted for Dênis Neiva. Edwin Mellberg kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Leontin Pogea hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Älmestad IFK's Albin Östlund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niklas Broberg in the 84th minute of play. A collision led to Göngu-Hrólfs 49ers getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Ulf Ahlén hit a great ball.
