With a little luck, Gäddede's Axel Hedvall got control of the ball when Ionel Dobre tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 20 minutes, Erling Uggstedt mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gäddede and the Vedevåg players grew even worse after the yellow card. Erling Uggstedt hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Gert Martinsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 47thth minute of the game Gert Martinsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gäddede's Axel Hedvall was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The crowd rose to their feet as Gäddede's Erling Uggstedt slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Henric Öberg. That made the score 2-1 after 51 minutes of play. In the 58th minute Erling Uggstedt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henric Öberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Axel Hedvall showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gert Martinsson in the 59th minute of the match. A collision led to Gäddede getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Erling Uggstedt hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gert Martinsson in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Axel Hedvall prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Henric Öberg made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Michael Ekeberg sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Gäddede's zone, Gert Martinsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Axel Hedvall came out of the goal and Gert Martinsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Ionel Dobre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Axel Hedvall showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gert Martinsson in the 74th minute of the match. In the 76th minute Gert Martinsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Axel Hedvall saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 79thth minute of the game Gert Martinsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gäddede's Axel Hedvall was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gert Martinsson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Axel Hedvall having to make a save. In the 87th minute, Harald Nordström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 90th minute Gert Martinsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Axel Hedvall saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vedevåg's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
