Stig Uter hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. 5 minutes into the match, Så du sniffar lim's goal looked a bit too open when Claes Wik came free, but Nils Söderman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 6thth minute of the game Per-Olof Forss who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Storfors BK's Birger Blomqvist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 7 minutes into the game, Hans Kuse was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Storfors BK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Så du sniffar lim the free kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Storfors BK's Göran Lindholm slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Nils Söderman. That made the score 1-0 after 12 minutes of play. In the 16th minute Christer Åström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Birger Blomqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Per-Olof Forss fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Birger Blomqvist having to interfere. Birger Blomqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christer Åström in the 21st minute of play. Per-Olof Forss struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Birger Blomqvist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Så du sniffar lim. Birger Blomqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jens Lundin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Storfors BK getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Hans Kuse hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Christer Åström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Så du sniffar lim's supporters rose to their feet, but Christer Åström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Birger Blomqvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Per-Olof Forss struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Birger Blomqvist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Så du sniffar lim. After a rather tough play, Så du sniffar lim's Délio Bezerra got a free kick in the 30th minute. If Per-Olof Forss had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 36th minute, Hans Kuse hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Christer Åström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Storfors BK's Göran Lindholm got a free kick in the 40th minute. Birger Blomqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Per-Olof Forss, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. After 42 played minutes Storfors BK got a freekick which was hit by Bengt Bohlin. 43 minutes into the match, Storfors BK's goal looked a bit too open when Per-Olof Forss came free, but Birger Blomqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Per-Olof Forss had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The wind increased when Christer Åström made the kick off in the second half. With his leg Birger Blomqvist managed to avoid a goal in the 52ndth minute, when Så du sniffar lim's Christer Åström fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Bengt Bohlin was shown his second yellow card after 53 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 54th minute, Bengt Bohlin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Per-Olof Forss in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Birger Blomqvist saved Storfors BK from getting behind. With his leg Birger Blomqvist managed to avoid a goal in the 56thth minute, when Så du sniffar lim's Christer Åström fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Claes Wik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nils Söderman having to interfere. Christer Åström who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 62ndth minute tested the skills of Birger Blomqvist when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Christer Åström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 68th minute Göran Lindholm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nils Söderman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 72 minutes into the match, Christer Åström notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Storfors BK's Birger Blomqvist. Birger Blomqvist was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Christer Åström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. Christer Åström came free with the goalkeeper in the 82nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Birger Blomqvist could save by the left post. Christer Åström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
